22 year old Cristina Rubio was born in Madrid and moved to London two years ago after gaining a place in one of Europe's top conservatoires,?the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, being the first Spanish jazz singer to do so.

Since living in the UK, she has performed at top venues including Ronnie Scott’s Bar, Ealing Jazz Festival, The Spice of Life in Soho, The Barbican Centre,
The National Portrait Gallery and Glasgow International Jazz Festival, in which she appeared with Ryan Quigley’s Big Band.
