Jon is an acoustic singer/ songwriter of the highest calibre with his self-professed soulful and slightly gravelly voice making serious waves throughout the music industry. Hailing from the sleepy green fields of Devon his early influences such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Neil Young helped to instil in him the importance of lyrics to accompany his stunning guitar playing.
Although luck played a factor in his big break, when Land Rover chose his song ‘Going Home’ to feature in one of their ads, it was his reaction to play as many gigs as possible to put a face to the name that helped propel him to where he is today. After appearing on ‘Later Live’ with Jools Holland and supporting the likes of Damien Rice, KT Tunstall and Jose Gonzales we were over the moon when he decided to drop into Zizzi Sessions at Central St Giles (on more than one occasion) to play a set for our lucky diners.
