Inspired by the docks...

The illustrations that occupy the various walls have been inspired by the local area and compiled by the artist Lizzie Stewart. Lizzie's inspiration for the artwork has been inspired by the city of Aberdeen and its mix of industrial and historical; the solid granite buildings against the working backdrop of sea and ships. The bright, primary colours are taken from those of the boats in the dock and the quote is from Victorian Scottish writer and social commentator Thomas Carlyle. We love the restaurant but don't just take our word for it, why not come and see for yourself?
