our artist Richard Sanderson has taken the themes of the area to produce a wall mural inspired by journeying canal boats
A part of the famous Mailbox shopping centre, Zizzi mailbox is in a unique and exciting location. The beautiful refurbishment of the Royal Mail's main sorting office has produced premier shopping destination in the heart of Birmingham. Taking this theme we have introduced a splash of mailbox colour into our scheme by painting our pizza oven a deep red. The restaurant is split into 2 main areas. Our raised floor area is great for large tables or parties with some funky light fittings to get into the party mood. The lower area towards the large window frontage, draws more on the canal and outdoor theme, with large floating cloud-like light fittings hanging lazily overhead. The walls are adorned with vintage mail sorting boxes and our artist Richard Sanderson has taken the themes of the area to produce a wall mural inspired by journeying canal boats meandering along the river.Fresh talent illustrator: Richard Sanderson
