Manchester's old cotton industry brought to life by Fresh Talent illustrator Matthew Brooks
We commissioned young illustrator Matthew Kavan Brooks to design Zizzi Trafford's artwork. Matthew was inspired by Manchester's roots as a centre of the cotton trade, and all the creative energy that went with it. The Manchester Ship Canal is central to his work: he's created original art inspired by it, and has linked it to our love for classic Italian cooking. Look out for vintage thread and bobbin spools and Matthew's cleverly recessed lights. We think he's done an incredible job.Fresh talent illustrator: Matthew Brooks
