Books for Bubbly in Oxford!
To celebrate the reopening of our Oxford restaurant on the 30th October we are offering diners ‘bubbly for books’! In order to celebrate Oxfords rich literary and educational history, we are offering a free glass of prosecco to say thank you to those who bring in one of their favourite books to leave at the restaurant.
The restaurant itself is heavily influenced by the late C.S. Lewis writer of one of the most popular books of all time, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. When you enter the restaurant diners will be silver birch trees referencing the forest scenes from the book and lighting features allude to the snow drops in Narnia.
We have also involved the local people of Oxford in the design of the restaurant by running a photo competition where local people were invited to send us photos that highlighted what the city means to them. Six photo’s have been selected to feature in the restaurant and the winners have been invited to share dinner at the Chef’s table on the opening night.
Award winning artist Lizzie Mary Cullen has created an illustration on the exterior of the restaurant and will be creating unique, locally inspired illustrations inside the restaurant, live, on the opening night!
So why don’t you come and see our beautifully refurbished restaurant for yourself…Book your table online today!
