12 Talented Artists. One Beautiful Restaurant. Zizzi Canterbury is Back
Canterbury holds a special place in the hearts of thousands of tourists who flock there to see the city’s historic sites. And on the last stop of The Canterbury Tales tour you will find a restaurant that’s popular with tourists and locals alike – our very own Zizzi.
We’re over the moon to announce that the doors are now back open and we’re ready to serve some stunning food in one of the most distinguished buildings in the country (it’s over 800 years old). A beautiful new look restaurant, that has been inspired by The Canterbury Tales and it’s rich heritage, now awaits.
At the artistic helm was Amy Murray, who paid tribute to Chaucer’s famous collection of stories in the restaurant’s front room with a stunning piece of artwork celebrating the restaurant’s connection.
And the historic influence doesn’t stop there either. In the back room, we proudly display John Cogan’s portrait – not once, not twice, but in twelve very unique ways! We asked twelve artists from our Creative Collective to present their take on the legendary Cogan portrait. They have not disappointed, and we’re sure you won’t be either. So move that mouse of yours here and book your table now.
