31 Reasons To Love January – #24


Think of Italian ingredients and what springs to mind? Tomatoes, olives, Parma ham… mozzarella. We’re pretty sure this would be near the top of the list, and that’s why it comes in at number 24 on our list of reasons to love January. And not only that, but the mozzarella that adorns many of our pizzas, pastas and Rusticas is not the normal, run-of-the-mill stuff, but Buffalo Mozzarella D.O.P – specially protected name-of-origin cheese. Think Cava, and then think Champagne. You see where we’re going with this…

And now, even more of you can love our buffalo mozzarella as we are introducing for the first time vegetarian buffalo mozzarella. Sound slightly strange – never fear. Without going into too much detail, all it means is that the process through which it is made adheres to strict manufacturing processes that allow vegetarians to eat it. What’s most important is that it has 58% more calcium, 40% more protein and 43% less cholesterol than cow’s milk…

So, whether they’re the main ingredient on our Bufala D.O.P Rustica, or playing a supporting role in our Spaghetti Pomodoro, to name but a few, you’re sure to love them one way or the other.
