Introducing: Angelo Garofalo

One thing an Italian restaurant needs is an Italian chef and it’s time to introduce you to ours.

Angelo Garofalo: jetsetter, lady-charmer and a whiz in the kitchen. He’s our very own Italian, born and bred, master chef.

He’s the driving force behind every dish on the menu and spends months roaming the Italian countryside searching for inspiration, accepting only the finest ingredients and sampling the tastiest ideas…it’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it.

For our new menu, Angelo’s brought back some of the best dishes he sampled on his travels and tweaked them slightly to add a Zizzi twist.

Inspired by the creamy, cheesy, hearty dishes from northern Italy Angelo’s created the king of Calzones; Calzone Pollo Spinaci. And influenced by the south, he’s made our oven baked Fish Stew even better, now brimming with seabass, squid, king prawns and mussels.

With 12 totally new dishes and 18 improved recipes, we’re confident there’s something on our new menu for everyone.
