#ZIZZIRECIPES – Tiramisu

Ingredients:

570ml double cream
250g mascarpone cream
75ml coffee liqueur
5 tbsp golden caster sugar
300ml strong coffee, made with 2 tbsp coffee granules and 300ml boiling water
25 lady fingers
dark chocolate
cocoa powder

Recipe:

  1. 1. Add 250g mascarpone and 570ml of double cream to a large mixing bowl
  2. 2. Add 5 tbsp golden caster sugar
  3. 3. 568ml pot double cream
  4. 4. 75ml coffee liqueur
  5. 5. Mix well until smooth
  6. 6. Soak the lady fingers in coffee
  7. 7. To a dish add coffee soaked lady fingers(enough to cover the bottom of the dish)
  8. 8. Add a thick layer of the mascarpone cream mixture
  9. 9. Dust with grated dark chocolate
  10. 10. Repeat steps 7, 8 & 9
  11. 11. Dust with cocoa powder
  12. 12. Leave to set in the fridge for 2 – 8 hours
