Lasagne Al Forno

Who doesn’t love a warm, tasty lasagne on a cold winter night?! Here, we show our lasagne recipe, so you can whip one up at home in a flash!

You’ll Need:

30ml olive oil

1 carrot chopped

1o onions chopped

350gr minced meat

Worcestershire sauce to taste

90ml red wine or dry white wine

300gr tomato passata

20gr butter

500-700ml of béchamel

90gr grated grana padano

Fresh Lasagne pasta sheets

Salt & pepper


What to do:

1. Heat the olive oil in a pan, add carrots and onion and cook for few minutes

2. Add the meat and cook until brown, pour the wine and cook for few more minutes

3. Season with Worcestershire sauce to taste

4. Add the tomato passata and season with salt, cook at low heat for about 30-45min and then season with black pepper

5. Preheat the oven to 190c

6. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter then arrange a layer of lasagne sheet on the base, spoon some of the meat sauce, then some béchamel and sprinkle some grated cheese and a dot of butter

7. Repeat the alternating layers until all the ingredients have been used ending with a layer of béchamel

8. Bake in the oven for about 45min.
