From grand gestures and proposals, to outfit mishaps and disasters, we want to hear your best (and worst!) Valentine’s date stories.
Share your tales with us and you could win a meal for two!
Here’s how to enter:
#LoveIsZizzi Competition Ts & Cs
To enter you must be aged 18 years or over and be a UK resident. This prize is not open to employees (or families of employees) of GONDOLA Restaurants Ltd.
To take part in this competition, simply post on our Facebook wall/comment on a relevant post or tweet on Twitter with your Valentine’s date story, include the hashtag #LoveIsZizzi and the handle “@wearezizzi”. If you do not use the correct hashtag your entry will not be entered into the promotion.
By submitting your entry, you confirm that: you hold the entire copyright in the entry; you grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the entry and you have the express permission of the people featured in any photo to enter the photo into the promotion.
The Promoter may disqualify entries and, where applicable, may remove them from its social media sites, which meet any of the criteria below:
- Promoting excessive, irresponsible or underage consumption of alcohol.
- Use of offensive, obscene, pornographic, abusive, false, misrepresenting, defamatory, indecent or malicious content.
- The consumption of alcohol in an irresponsible manner;
- Anyone acting in a dangerous or irresponsible manner;
- Image depicting or related to inappropriate or excess drinking;
- Image represents a danger to health and safety;
- Inclusion of other brands;
- Inclusion of content to which the Promoter considers that someone else owns the copyright, without the requisite authorisations;
- Any indecent or inappropriate imagery.
Your story or photo must comply with the Twitter Terms of Service and Facebook Terms of Service (as appropriate).
By entering the prize draw/ promotion, entrants agree that Zizzi has exclusive and unreserved rights to use their entries in any publicity materials subsequent to the prize draw/ promotion. Furthermore, by entering the prize draw/ promotion, all entrants agree that Zizzi has exclusive and unreserved rights to use their entries in any promotional activity during the running of the prize draw/ promotion.
The winner will be drawn at random from all entries received before the closing date of Saturday 14th February 2015 at 23:59 within 5 working days of the closing date and entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered.
The Promoter will contact the winner through the social media site on which they entered, by means of a comment on the winning post, instructing the winner how to contact the Promoter in order to claim the prize within 28 days of the closing date. The winner has 14 days to respond to initial notification to claim the prize and in the event the winner does not respond within this timeframe the winner will be disqualified and a reserve winner, selected in the same manner, will be contacted.
There is one prize to be won. The prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, refunds, transfers, or cash equivalent payment will be allowed. The prize is a £50 Zizzi Gift Card.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless the Promoter agrees otherwise in writing the prizes are non-refundable and non- transferable.

By entering into this Competition, you acknowledge that Facebook and Twitter have no responsibility for this Competition and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Facebook and Twitter from any liability whatsoever in connection with this Competition.
The winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and submitted entries for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration during and after this Competition.
This Competition, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including the prize), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Competition (including the prize).
The winner will receive their prize no later than thirty (30) days after the close of the Competition.
The Promoter claims full and unreserved copyright to all Competition entries without exception.
The promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting a Prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence;
If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which us beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters and which prevents the Promoters from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoters will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing that obligation.
If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoters reserve the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process;
