Not for most of our hospitality roles. Attitude matters more than experience. For management roles, we look for some experience, but we also look for transferable skills.
It’s fast-paced and hands-on. You could be serving guests, making food, cleaning down, and supporting your team. It can be busy, but you are always in it together.
Part-time and full-time roles are available, with flexibility where possible. Our restaurants run from 10:00 AM to late, 7 days a week. Your availability and minimum contracted hours are agreed upfront.
We will usually get in touch to invite for a chat. For management roles, we need a bit more, like a video call, an interview, and an assessment.
It could be a matter of days if everything goes to plan. We aim to keep the process moving so you're not left waiting.
Pay depends on the role, experience, and location. We’ll be clear from the start.
Hourly roles are paid every two weeks, salaried roles monthly, plus a share of the tips/ tronc – 100% of which goes to our team.
Your induction contains hands-on training, e-learning, and regular check-ins with your manager. Management roles include a four-week training programme, usually in your local restaurant. After that, we have our Viaggio career development programme.
