Located in the heart of the beautiful city of Winchester, our Zizzi restaurant combines delicious Italian food with a dash of history. Just a stone’s throw from the famous Winchester Cathedral and the ancient Great Hall – home to the legendary Round Table of King Arthur – we’re perfectly positioned for a post-sightseeing feast.
Located on the High Street, Zizzi Winchester is housed in the historic Jacob & Johnson building, which dates back to the 17th century. This iconic spot was home to the Hampshire Chronicle from 1788 until 2004. We’ve carefully preserved its original features and designed the restaurant to reflect the rich heritage of the area, creating a space that’s as welcoming as it is unique.
Our restaurant boasts a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the medieval streets, shopping in the bustling city centre, or catching a show at the Theatre Royal Winchester. With a contemporary design and an open kitchen layout, you can watch our chefs work their magic while you relax with friends or family.

Trust us. It all started with one pizza oven, a splash of wine, and a little neighbourhood restaurant. 25 years later, there are 138 of them. Which sounds like a lot now we’ve written it down. We’re still doing things our own way, and you can come and see for yourself at Zizzi Winchester. Bowlfuls of pasta, pizzas with light, crispy bases and bubbly crusts, generous portions, big flavours.
