RECIPECHEESY CHILLI GARLIC BREAD RECIPE

Perfect as a starter, side dish, or sharer, this spicy garlic bread is quick to make and packed with flavour. With a crispy base, melted cheese, and a subtle chilli kick, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for any pizza night or dinner table.

INGREDIENTS
Ingredients for Cheesy Chilli Garlic Bread (Serves 1–2):
- 200g dough ball
- 60g mozzarella, diced
- 1 tbsp Grana Padano Riserva cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp garlic spread
- A couple of pinches of chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
- ½ roasted red chilli, for garnish
METHOD
How to Make Cheesy Chilli Garlic Bread:
- Preheat the oven
- Preheat your oven to its highest setting. If using a pizza oven, heat to 300°C (570°F).
- Roll out the dough
- On a floured surface, roll the dough into a circular shape around 25cm wide. Keep it relatively thin - it will rise slightly as it cooks. Transfer to a baking tray or pizza paddle.
- Add the toppings
- Evenly sprinkle the diced mozzarella and grated Grana Padano over the dough. Add a couple of pinches of chilli flakes (or more if you like extra heat!).
- Bake until golden and bubbling
- Place in the oven and cook until the base is crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbling. This cooks quickly, so keep an eye on it - those air pockets are a good sign!
- Finish with garlic
- Remove from the oven and brush the garlic spread around the edges while still warm for maximum flavour.
- Serve and enjoy
- Slice, garnish with roasted red chilli, and serve your homemade cheesy chilli garlic bread fresh from the oven.
